"I just wanted to drop you and Sarah a note of thanks for running such a great course. It really helped build my confidence in treating my pregnant clients, of whom I have seen 2 this week, and both have re-booked for next week as well! I learnt a lot that I have already been able to put in to practice.
It was a long way to travel, but very much worth it. Many thanks again.

"The course gave me much more than I had hoped and expected. I now have the confidence to go out into the world and be a holistic massage therapist and I have learnt so much more about myself that can only lead to me caring for my clients and myself in a rewarding and compassionate way.
I looked forward to every weekend and found that I would leave every Sunday full of an energy and enthusiasm that I have seldom found anywhere else. The course the tutors and my fellow students were fantastic and I am so excited to be continuing with another course next term.
I have made friends that I will probably keep in touch with for the rest of my life.

Credits gained in these QCF’s can now count towards future education and university degrees.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is the ancient art of applying pressure to the feet and hands using specific thumb, finger and hand techniques – it is based on a system of ten ‘zones’ and ‘reflex areas’, that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands. Its function is to effect a physical healing and changes to homeostasis by releasing ‘blockages’ and restoring the free-flow of energy through the body .
The therapy was developed by Eunace Ingham in the mid to late twentieth century; however, the principles of treating the body holistically (Literally - as a whole) using lines of energy, date back thousands of years.
In the tomb of Ankhamor, there are a series of pictures, illustrating what seems to be a similar art to Reflexology, whereby a physician is holding and manipulating both feet and hands. In today’s stressful lifestyles, more and more people are reaping the benefits of the art of Reflexology.
What are the benefits of Reflexology?
Research has shown the specific techniques of reflexology to be effective and beneficial in many ways, it:
