Our ITEC Level 3 Massage Course Filled Twice Over – Here’s What That Means for You

Tutor Trevor explaining instructions to a student

This year marked a first for us: we opened a second intake of our most popular course, the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage, as an overflow option to meet extraordinary levels of demand. We have never needed to do this before, and we wanted to share what it means – and what it says about the course itself.

Why we opened an overflow intake

Each year, our standard intake for the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage fills up. That is something we are proud of, and something we work hard to sustain by keeping our class sizes deliberately tight. We do not simply add more seats to accommodate demand – that would compromise the quality of learning, and quality is something we have never been willing to compromise on in over 37 years of training.

This year, however, the waiting list grew to a level we simply could not ignore. The interest from prospective students was so significant that, for the first time, we made the decision to open an additional overflow intake. It was an exceptional response to exceptional demand.

The overflow intake filled up too

We are delighted to say that the overflow intake filled up as well. Every place was taken. This is a testament to how many people are looking to begin a new career or build an additional income in massage therapy – and to how many of them choose us to help them do it.

If you were among those who missed out, we completely understand how frustrating that feels. Please do not be disheartened.

Why we keep class sizes small

It might be tempting to ask why we do not simply run more classes or open the doors wider. The honest answer is that our reputation is built on the quality of training we deliver, and that quality depends entirely on keeping classes intimate.

When class sizes are small, students receive more hands-on time, more individual feedback, and a learning environment where nobody is left behind. Our student reviews consistently reflect this. People do not choose us just because we offer an accredited qualification – they choose us because of the experience of learning here. That is something we protect carefully.

The next intake is in September

The next available intake for the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage is in September. If this year has shown us anything, it is that places go – and they go quickly. If you are considering training with us, we would strongly encourage you not to wait.

You can view the course details and available dates on the course page, or if you have questions before committing, you are very welcome to get in touch with us – we are always happy to help you decide whether the course is the right fit for you.

Not sure if massage training is right for you?

If you are new to the idea of training in massage therapy, you might find our guides helpful. We have written about why people choose to become qualified massage therapists, what qualifications you need in the UK, and how much massage therapists earn. There is also plenty of information on the best massage courses for beginners if you are weighing up your options.

We look forward to welcoming the next cohort of students in September — and if demand continues at this rate, we would encourage anyone interested to secure their place early.
