This 2-day Advanced Myofascial Release course has been developed following the outstanding feedback and clinical results reported by therapists who have completed the Myofascial Release and Vagus Nerve Regulation courses. As practitioners begin applying these techniques, a common theme emerges: a desire to understand more. More about the fascial system, more about complex presentations, and more about how to apply these principles to a wider range of clients and conditions. This advanced workshop is designed to build on those foundations, providing a deeper exploration of fascial anatomy, assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment strategies to help therapists achieve even greater clinical outcomes.
Building upon the foundations established in the prerequisite trainings, this advanced workshop provides an in-depth exploration of fascial anatomy, physiology, and pathology, with a particular focus on the Spiral Line and its influence on movement, posture, compensation patterns, and functional performance.
Participants will develop a deeper understanding of how fascial restrictions and adaptations can contribute to a wide range of musculoskeletal presentations, not only in sports and recovery settings but across the broader client population. Through a combination of theory, demonstrations, and extensive hands-on practice, therapists will learn advanced assessment and treatment strategies for addressing complex fascial patterns that may influence mobility, stability, pain, and overall function.
The course will take a deeper dive into the anatomy and physiology of fascial lines, examining how tension, compensation, and force transmission can influence movement throughout the body. Participants will also explore the role of fascial pathology and its potential impact on function, performance, and recovery.
Why a Deeper Understanding of Fascial Lines Matters:
Improved Structural Balance: Understanding the Spiral Line and the body’s fascial slings helps therapists identify compensatory patterns that can affect posture, movement efficiency, load transfer, and long-term function. By recognising how these interconnected systems work together, therapists can develop more effective treatment strategies to support whole-body balance and movement.
Enhanced Mobility and Movement Quality: Addressing restrictions within interconnected fascial pathways can improve range of motion, reduce tension, and support more efficient and coordinated movement patterns throughout the body.
Advanced Clinical Reasoning: A deeper understanding of fascial anatomy, physiology, and pathology allows therapists to better assess complex presentations and appreciate the relationships between local symptoms and global movement patterns.
Comprehensive Client Support: Advanced fascial assessment and treatment techniques provide therapists with additional tools to address a broad range of presentations, from athletic performance and recovery to persistent musculoskeletal complaints and postural dysfunction.
This advanced workshop is ideal for therapists looking to expand their understanding of the fascial system, refine their clinical reasoning skills, and develop a more comprehensive approach to assessing and treating movement dysfunction through the lens of fascial connectivity.
