Cupping Therapy CPD Course

Learn cupping therapy techniques for pain management and healing. This 1 day FHT-accredited course provides CPD points for professional therapists.

Course Overview

Records over 5000 years old reveal fire cupping has been widely endorsed by Chinese, Roman and Arabic cultures for centuries.

With the modern rise in understanding of function and pain, cupping is now part of the ‘tool’ kit of various healthcare professionals.

The aim of this course is to address musculoskeletal issues with the use of fire cupping as additional modality of treatment for massage therapists.

The impact of muscular imbalances across the hip and shoulder complexes will be discussed in detail.

The physiological impact of cupping, side effects and after care advice are covered, together with an introduction to the functional influence of the fascial network.

Strategies for treatment…with an improvement on the presenting symptoms of the client as the end goal intention.
