Rosie is a Reiki Master-Teacher, a Reflexologist and Indian Head Massage therapist who made a transition from office work in 1992, starting with Spiritual healing. Over time she touched many different healing modalities and became a qualified past life therapist in the noughties.
Rosie has been teaching since 1999 and obtained her Certificate of Education in 2007. She started by assisting Andrew James, her teacher of Reflexology, on taster days, and it was Andrew who encouraged her and facilitated her on the road to more in-depth teaching.
In 2007 she obtained her Certificate in Education. She started teaching the ITEC Practitioner Reflexology at the Richmond Adult and Community College and later at several adult education centres and independent schools across west London. Rosie also taught Reiki at these centres, facilitating, through attunement, many student’s reconnection to the universal energy, enabling them to re-remember who they really are.
She is thrilled to be teaching with the School of Natural Therapies as she loves to be able to facilitate students in learning new skills and, in fact, gets excited about watching them blossom in confidence and ability as they become more competent in their new chosen skill.
Her work as a therapist has been concentrated in the area of mental health where she worked for a Feltham charity by supporting service users with her therapies. She also managed an art and craft workshop teaching service users art and craft skills, marketing and business skills, as an aid to returning to the world of work, study or volunteering. She became part of the team who designed courses at Ealing Hospital as part of West London NHS Trust’s new approach and programme to mental health recovery.
In her spare time Rose’s creativity has involved her in writing, painting and jewellery making.
