  • While gaining work experience and building a client base, learners can continue to develop their skills and upgrade to a Level 5 qualification
  • Students can take a break after Level 3 and return later to complete the Level 5 qualification through the BTEC bridging programme, if desired

I did level 3 sports massage course with them and I cannot recommend highly enough! It was the best learning experience one can expect: professional and highly experienced tutors, very approachable and supportive environment, great combination of theory and practicals. Most important of all, they really cared and went out of their way to make sure we got all the support/help we needed. I enjoyed every moment of it.

The courses offered are exactly what I was looking for and after some extensive research I chose the School of Natural Therapies. I am not really a new age kind of person so the name could have been misleading, which could have led me believe it was a more holistic type of learning however that is not the case. The Level 3 Sports Massage course is intense and there is a lot of homework to put in to achieve the desired outcome. The Tutors are excellent and deliver the course with an incredible level of knowledge and practical experience. No question ever stumps them and they are always happy to help you. It feels like its a partnership through the learning journey which suited everyone on the courses I have attended. I definitely made the right choice and would encourage you to do so too.

I have recently completed my Level 3 Sports Massage qualification with the School of Natural Therapies and could not recommend the school more highly. The course tutors, Joseph and Trevor, were extremely knowledgable and passionate about what they do. They created a fantastic learning environment and made sure everyone on the course was fully prepared for the exam. I very much look forward to doing the Level 5 qualification at the school in the future!

If you’re looking at following a career in sports massage, I recommend that you study here. I’ve been a qualified massage therapist for a number of years specialising in the Swedish technique. I felt that I wanted to do something different and more challenging, I was eager to further my education. I began looking for training courses in my local area and found the School of Natural Therapies. It was recommended on enquiry that I begin at level 3. This course was absolutely amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! The level of teaching is superior and is highly commendable! Joseph Trevor, Iris and Melanie all have a wealth of personal knowledge and experience and are all incredible teachers. I feel so privileged to be one of their students. I’m now looking forward to studying the higher level 5 course later on this year.

I recently completed the Level 3 Sports Massage program. The training I received from SNT was extremely thorough and far exceeded my expectations! The tutors are very knowledgeable and highly accomplished, and they are readily available to answer questions and share their expertise. The program requirements are simultaneously rigorous and achievable. While some schools give very little classroom time or attention to the things that will make or break a therapist in the long run, I have never gotten the sense that we were taking any shortcuts and have always appreciated the instructors prioritizing our longevity and success.

FAQs

Not necessarily. If you hold a UK-recognised massage or holistic therapy qualification that includes Anatomy and Physiology (A&P), you may be exempt from further study, provided: 1. The A&P qualification is part of a UK-recognized massage course (e.g., ITEC, VTCT, City & Guilds) at Level 3 or above. 2. You may need to attend 2–3 sports massage-specific A&P sessions during the course but can skip most other sessions if the criteria are met. Feel free to contact us via email or phone if you’re unsure.
Some general reading on the human body in advance of your course may be helpful if you haven’t studied any anatomy or physiology before and we will supply a basic recommended reading list prior to the course, once you have booked and paid your deposit. Don’t forget we also provide our own exclusive and comprehensive course notes as well once the course is under way.
Please bring two bath towels for personal use. You’ll also need colored pencils and general writing materials for the anatomy class. A course manual and detailed notes will be provided to support your learning throughout the course.
The massage classes include both male and female students. You would need to advise us in advance if you have an objection to that and we will advise you if this course is suitable.
Students cannot leave belongings at the venue as there is very limited storage available.
We would expect anyone applying to possess a reasonable command of English language, both written and oral. However, there are many ways of presenting work and we can advise what is best for the individual if they find they are struggling with their written skills.
You will undoubtedly need your own couch for practice at home and for case study treatments. We will be able to advise you before you purchase one and we have an exclusive deal with a well-respected massage couch supplier, who is able to offer discounts and very good deals for students. We will provide couches during class time of course.

If you have any questions about this course, please do not hesitate to contact us and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
