What the course covers

This two day practical workshop gives a comprehensive and science based introduction to myofascial release methods that support mobility, reduce tension and restore balance. You will explore:

  • The role of fascia in posture, movement and recovery, including biotensegrity, interstitial fluid and fascial networks
  • How fascial restrictions affect range of motion, and how to assess and adapt your approach
  • Full body myofascial release techniques with plenty of supervised hands on practice
  • Postural evaluation and palpation skills so you can feel restrictions and understand common compensations

A key strand of the workshop is technique in vagus nerve regulation. You will learn why vagal tone matters for nervous system balance, circulation, inflammation and muscle tone, and how to integrate simple down regulation strategies to support longer lasting change for clients.

For a deeper dive into our approach, read our guide: Recover, Release, Restore: a guide to myofascial release and vagus nerve regulation.
