We are proud to announce that we will be delivering a key presentation at this year’s UK Spa Association Summer Networking Event, taking place on Wednesday 30th July 2025 at Center Parcs Woburn Forest, Bedfordshire.
As long-standing UK Spa Association members, we are thrilled to contribute to an event that brings together the spa industry’s most passionate professionals to share knowledge, network, and inspire positive change.
Why This Talk Matters
The wellness sector has grown rapidly, but training standards have not always kept pace. Our talk focuses on a rising challenge in the spa sector: staff sickness and burnout due to injury.
Far too many therapists are developing chronic musculoskeletal issues, particularly thumb pain and joint strain, because of poor massage technique or insufficient understanding of Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology. We’ve explored this topic extensively in our article on Thumb pain from massage and how to avoid it.
When therapists are trained properly from the outset, and supported with regular CPD, they not only avoid injury but also deliver a higher-quality treatment experience, enhancing client satisfaction and driving spa business success.
Proven Partnerships with Leading Spas
Our track record speaks for itself. We’ve worked with some of the UK’s most respected luxury spas to support therapist development, including:
- Browns Hotel, Mayfair, where we tailored an in-house training plan for their elite therapists.
- Aman Spa at The Connaught, one of London’s most iconic hotel spas, who partnered with us for therapist education.
- MASAJ, a modern massage concept brand known for clinical expertise and cultural relevance.
We are currently in discussion with spa leaders from all three partners, along with others, to co-develop a dedicated spa massage training pathway for individuals and businesses alike.
Your Invitation: Help Shape Our New Spa-Focused Courses
Our team is actively developing bespoke training pathways for spa therapists, informed by real feedback from spa managers across the UK. We’re asking: What do you need your therapists to know before they step into treatment rooms?
If you’re a spa manager or training coordinator and would like to contribute, or be notified when our new Spa Massage Courses launch, please register your interest here. Alternatively, we can provide bespoke massage training for businesses and team as we have done for many big names.
Our Commitment to Quality and Safety
All of our qualifications are built on evidence-informed practices and refined by years of clinical experience. Whether it’s our flagship Level 3 Diploma in Massage, Clinical Sports Massage Level 5, or targeted CPD like Myofascial Release with Vagus Nerve Techniques, every course is designed to protect the therapist and delight the client.
We’ve also published helpful guidance for those considering this profession, including:
