ITEC Level 3 Diploma (QCF Level3) Internationally Recognised Diploma
This ITEC Level 3 diploma course is the essential ‘foundation’ for which all other complementary, beauty, massage and sports therapy diploma awards are based. It is essential for anyone who intends to work in direct contact with the human body and it's structures.

These qualifications qualify therapists to work in Gyms & Health-clubs, Spas, part of other complementary practices such as Osteopathic Clinics, Health Farms or those who wish to work from home providing complementary health treatments and services.
The course is comprised of the following unit.
ITEC Unit 383, Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies
(Multiple choice theory test 50 questions on exam day – 1 hour paper.
Human Anatomy and Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies, covering all major systems and their functions, incorporating:
Please note that our Weekend courses will be held over a duration of 16 days from 09.30 - 13.00 and our Weekday courses will be held over a duration of 8 days from 11.00 - 17.00.
Where possible, it is recommended that candidates have achieved a level of qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at Grades A - C; however The School of Natural Therapies and ITEC will make exemptions for foreign and UK students with equivalent qualifications or adult returners with experience of the workplace.
The qualification will be externally and internally assessed - all units are mandatory.
Unit 346 (Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology & Pathologies) - Multi-choice theory test (paper)
Unit 347 (Knowledge of Less Common Pathologies) - Assignment (Pass or Refer)
As with all School of Natural Therapies courses, everything you will need to study is supplied

ITEC has mapped to NOS’s where they exist and any appropriate core curricula.
ITEC has insured that best practice in the workplace has been reflected in the syllabus; it has also linked the qualification to the relative job roles as well as ensuring that the syllabus reflects the required level of knowledge and ability for the therapist.
