These fundamental skills are not only empowering but also invaluable in supporting the wellness of your loved ones, including children, within your social circle.

Although this Bowen course will not certify you as a professional therapist, it will equip you with the knowledge and proficiency to provide informal care to family and friends. Learn one of the most effective modalities for alleviating pain, managing chronic conditions, and promoting overall health and vitality.

Embark on this short 2-day journey with me to explore a proven technique renowned for its efficacy in alleviating everyday stresses and strains, nurturing both physical and mental well-being for you and your family.

The Bowen Technique uses gentle moves to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms, helping to release tension, improve circulation, and restore balance to the autonomic nervous system. Claire is a well qualified tutor and joins us as a tutor to teach one and two day CPD courses, alongside Bowen Therapy, which we plan to launch later this year at the school.

She is a qualified Aromatherapist, Reflexologist and Massage practitioner with many years of experience behind her.

Claire says: – commencing my career as a reflexologist and massage therapist in hotels and spas (while residing in Spain in 2002) provided me with invaluable experience in caring for individuals.

Subsequently, I expanded my expertise by working in doctor’s surgeries, yoga retreats, sports centres, and festivals. After dedicating four years to perfecting my craft in Spain, I returned to England to assume the role of a tutor at a massage training school. In this capacity, I shared my experiences with enthusiastic students, imparting knowledge on various massage modalities.

Over the past 24 years, I’ve had the privilege of providing care and healing to a diverse range of individuals, including expectant mothers, infants, and children facing challenges such as ADHD, asthma, Tourette’s, and digestive issues.

Additionally, I’ve effectively addressed injuries in athletes, footballers, and rugby players, promoting relaxation for those enduring chronic stress. I’ve also had the pleasure of sharing my knowledge by teaching these modalities, and am currently a Bowen tutor for Bowen College UK and am also a tutor at the School of Natural Therapies in London.

While the Bowen technique has become the central focus of my practice over the last decade, I continue to offer treatments in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Advanced and Deep tissue massage—modalities that continue to captivate my passion. However, Bowen therapy has emerged as my primary approach for addressing emotional conditions and tackling issues such as musculoskeletal pain, stress, and anxiety.

I currently hold weekly clinic sessions at a practice in Brighton and Hove, and have done so for several years, treating a wide range of conditions.
