Helen Cameron-Lee

Coming from the fitness and dance industry herself, Helen has a wealth of knowledge in how the human body functions and behaves physically. Helen has been working in this field for over 25 years and has also worked with the hearing and visually impaired.

As a trainer of fitness and dance instructors for over 20 years, as well as a Course Director, Assessor and Internal Verifier for Sports and Recreation NVQ courses at level 2 and 3 (within several of the top London Adult Education colleges), she also continues to teach her own fitness classes within several leisure companies and larger conventions. Helen runs master classes on advanced dance and fitness teaching and choreography methods. Her specialist styles are American jazz tap, a blended programme of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi and step aerobics.

A longstanding fascination with the human body ultimately led her to teach human anatomy and physiology for sports and complementary therapists alike. Helen has specialised in this for the past 25 years and delivers it with the same enthusiasm as day one. She is also an ITEC qualified massage therapist and tutor. Her passion for her subject is clearly visible in her teaching and her fascination is contagious.

Still in the Dance & Fitness industry today, she leads her own dance company ‘Pulse’ and is a director, choreographer, producer and performer. Helen has also produced and directed 8 shows in the U.K. and abroad.

Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology ITEC 3. The prospect of completing this course over 3-4 months was very daunting at first. Helen’s teaching was excellent. Really brought the subject matter to life. Pleased to say that I achieved the success that I wanted in the exam.

Helen and Suz have such engaging positive vibes they make learning both interesting and fun. I never expected to learn as much as I did or to have such an interest in A&P. It has been a complete career change for me and feel with their encouragement and exceptionally unique way of teaching, I am confident to start this new chapter. Thank you both, I loved every minute of it and looked forward to all zoom classes and practicals with my fellow students. A rewarding experience I’ll never forget.

I was struggling with an on line Course for Anatomy Physiology and Pathology it was an uphill struggle with a massive text book and on line course that was just reading blah blah blah A friend found The School of Natural Therapies and my life was saved this course taught by Helen Cameron-Lee was made interesting and fun she has a remarkable way of teaching and and an even more remarkable way of giving confidence to students who are find things a little daunting I have passed my exam with great results in just 3 months and am over the moon I would very much highly recommend this School to all students
it not just text book reading its class room attendance and zoom classes once a week seriously make this your first point of call.

I just wanted to start off by saying the course was amazing. I came knowing so little and I left knowing bucket loads of knowledge. Helen is such a great tutor and helped all of us so much through the course. The knowledge was in-depth but really simple to understand and I will forever thank Helen for that. Suzzane was also a great tutor, providing support from the start to the end and she helped all of us so much and managed to maintain a calm aura in the room with all of the tension for exams. I want to thank both of these euphoric teachers for the incredible journey and for those who are wondering if they want to do this course, 100% go for it; it’ll change your life.

The best teachers I ever had. Very wise, helpful, they gave me knowledge in the best way, especially that my first language is not English. I am very happy that I chose this school.
