During this course Amy will be leading you through specialised massage techniques and adapted treatments which not only can be used in pregnancy, but also for clients who find the prone position less comfortable.
Deep Tissue - Upper Body
Is there anything more debilitating than shoulder pain? That deep, nagging discomfort that just won’t shift, no matter what. This common complaint leaves many therapists perplexed and many clients achieving only temporary relief.
In this two day course we will examine some of the many cases of shoulder pain and learn new techniques that might help deal with the discomfort and help prevent recurrence. Along with the lower back it is an area where relief can be felt most immediately.
Massaging People with Dementia
The course is for people who are already qualified in massage or hands on therapies, but wish to advance their skills, and build on their current knowledge to give them the confidence to practice more proficiently in this field. It is also available to any carers or professionals who wish to use meaningful, nurturing touch as a means of compassionately communicating with their loved ones or clients. This is a great forum for exchange of experience & expertise for everyone who attends.
